FlightGlobal Launches Airlines 2050 with Airlines UK, BAR-UK & IATA


A landmark event between the aviation industry and government focusing on the development of the UK airline sector.


FlightGlobal announces the launch of Airlines 2050, organised in partnership with Airlines UK, the UK Board of Airline Representatives (BAR UK) and IATA. The event focuses on the development of the UK airline sector and will be held on Thursday 17 October in London, bringing together the key players who drive the development of UK aviation and overseas airlines operating in the UK.

This prominent one-day summit will feature esteemed C-level speakers from the major UK and leading overseas airlines. It will give an insight into what is driving the UK airline sector, and how it can stay competitive in a fast changing and evolving business and political landscape.

The esteemed line-up of speakers includes Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline, Álex Cruz, Chairman and Chief Executive of British Airways, Brian Pearce, Chief Economist at IATA, Baroness Vere, UK Aviation Minister within the UK Government, Shai Weiss, Chief Executive of Virgin Atlantic, Michael Gill, Executive Director of the Air Transport Action Group (ATAG), Richard Moriarty, CEO of the UK Civil Aviation Authority, Dawn Wilson, Managing Director of TUI Airways, and Neil Slaven, UK Country Director at easyJet.
